Room size requirements
The room decides the layout, so we start from your dimensions rather than a fixed product. As a starting point:
- —Ceiling height: around 3m internally suits most players; we check your swing at survey
- —Width: from about 3.2m for a compact bay with an offset tee; 4m or more suits right and left-handed golfers
- —Depth: from about 4.3m; 5m or more gives comfortable ball flight and space behind the golfer
- —Tight on height? Sunken floors and roof alterations can unlock garages and outbuildings
The design and build process
We review your space, develop full 3D renders and refine the layout, equipment, lighting, materials and finishes with you, so you can confirm every detail before the build. We then check the site, clearances and equipment requirements, agree the plan and specification, and install with our own team — one point of contact from first sketch to first swing.
Trackman options
As a Trackman authorised dealer we supply, install and calibrate the full range. Trackman iO mounts overhead and suits a dedicated bay, keeping the floor clear and working for right and left-handed golfers. Trackman 4 sits behind the golfer and suits rooms that double as other spaces. We will recommend the right unit — and honest alternatives from Foresight and Uneekor — at survey.

We install home golf simulators across the whole of the UK. Your project is handled in house from survey and design through to build, AV, electrical and finishing, and surveys can be done remotely or on site. Wherever you are, the same team designs your room and travels to you to install it.

What ceiling height do I need for a golf simulator at home?
Most players want around 3m internally for a confident full swing with a driver. Lower ceilings can still work for some golfers, and sunken floors or roof alterations can unlock tight garages and outbuildings. We check your height, club length and swing plane at survey before anything is designed or ordered.
Can a golf simulator fit in a garage or outbuilding?
Yes — garages, barns and outbuildings are some of our most common home projects. Subject to a height and structure check, we handle the conversion, insulation, electrics, AV and finishing as one project, so the finished space performs and feels like a purpose-built golf room rather than a converted store.
How long does a home installation take?
Once the design and specification are agreed, a conversion of an existing room is usually measured in weeks rather than months. Design and 3D renders come first, so there are no surprises on site. Because every trade is in house, there is one programme and one point of contact throughout.
Which Trackman option suits a home simulator?
For a dedicated home bay, Trackman iO is the usual choice: ceiling mounted, nothing on the floor, and seamless for right and left-handed golfers. Trackman 4 suits rooms that need to flex between golf and other uses. As a Trackman authorised dealer we install and calibrate both, and will advise honestly at survey.
